The Olive Tree
The Olive Tree public house is a
prominent listed building in the Badcox area of Frome.
Steeped in history and tradition it has a reputation for a
warm welcome and good food. The new hosts, Nigel and
Natchita, wish to retain and enhance that reputation with
the introduction of authentic Thai cuisine. The spacious
bars and award winning garden with their relaxing and casual
atmosphere, good range of wines and beers, sit alongside an
oriental food experience.
A warm welcome and a new taste
experience await you at The Olive Tree and Thai Garden
Restaurant.
Thai Garden Restaurant
The new
Thai Garden Restaurant has
an extensive menu of traditional Thai food, catering for a
wide range of tastes. The dishes include meats, poultry,
fish and vegetarian. Ranging from snack/starters and
lunches, through to a full-service dinner menu, all tastes
and requirements are available, at value for money pricing.
Thai cuisine has a style of its
own, where meals can be as large or as small as desired.
Many people enjoy the designer style of selecting a range of
dishes and tastes and sharing with friends.
Our chef is from Bangkok,
previously working in 5-star international hotel
restaurants, he has a range of personal recipes and “Chefs
Specials”. All our food is hand made and prepared here from
fresh ingredients.
Geographically, Thailand is
situated between India and China and this is reflected in
the cuisine. Spicy and aromatic without being hot, the wide
range of sauces and flavours compliment the fresh produce.
Most dishes have a vegetarian option and can be varied to
taste.
We invite you to come and sample a
delightful taste sensation in this traditional and historic
area of Frome. |
